進口池底排泥閥由閥體，上下隔膜腔、膜片、閥桿組成。上下隔膜腔作為液體工具，液體作為動力，膜片、閥桿作為開關。開啟只需一分鐘打開閥板。此閥必須利用手動換方閥或電磁閥可遠距離控制排泥閥開關。隔膜式池底排泥閥密封性強、開關性能好，檢修方便，使用壽命可達五年以上。
